Just picked my truck up today. Frank’s completed body work a day early, had my truck washed and detailed on the inside as well. Daily text updates through out process of work as well as great contact through the scheduling process. Would recommend.
Happy with service
I am so happy to have found this service. I drove my car through a not so tiny puddle and flooded my engine, filters and oil thing. I had my car towed there to have it repaired. When I tell you, I did some damage to this car. However, everyone was so kind and professional and made sure to communicate with me everything that needed to be done and if they needed a little more time. They didn't try to charge me for unnecessary repairs and they never made me feel like I was a problem or just another customer. I highly recommend this company to anybody who needs work done on their cars.
Amazing service
This place is is amazing! Extremely professional and honest. Very friendly and knowledgeable walked me through the whole process and explained everything to me. I didn't feel I was being taken advantage of at all and since I don't know anything about cars I was afraid of that happening to me but not here at Frank's automotive. I was very happy with the service and price. I would recommend them to anyone who needs vehicle repair. 5 stars all the way.
Great experience
I brought in my work van with brake issues and was provided options and received a follow up call telling me they did further research and recommended which option would be the best for our van (which happened to be the cheaper option). Many thanks for the honesty and I will be a repeat customer.
Reliable auto repair service
Frank’s Auto repairs have always be reliable. My AC was not cooling. After a diagnostic on the same day I was told what was wrong, what repairs were required, and that I could pickup my car the next day. The guys at the shop we’re friendly and professional. I just picked up my car and it is cold inside. That’s reliable and quick.
Super friendly staff
Very good service in a timely fashion and good price. Super friendly staff! I had an oil and cabin and air filter change and diagnostics for a problem. They were honest and helped me to find out that my problem would be best served by taking it to the dealership so I could be covered by warranty. Excellent business!
Mechanic you can trust
I always appreciate finding a trusted mechanic. The staff at Frank's make me feel they have my best interests in mind. I last went there for a engine diagnostic and they gave me some suggestions on what it might be before I took it in just in case I could take care of it myself to save me the cost of service. The fact they did this (and I've only been there a few times) lets me in now they treat their customers with honesty and respect.
Great service for over 20 years
They repaired my electric window 3 weeks ago, part ended up being defective. Replaced today (5/5) with a new one. Been with Franks for over 20 years, no complaints.

Frank’s is a place I’ve been going to since I’ve gotten a car and since my family has settled in Texas. They always treat you like family and have quality work. I would highly recommend going to Frank’s for all your auto issues if you live in or near the San Marcos area!
Amazing auto repair service
My experience with this garage was amazing. I came in on a Friday morning before a Monday Holiday. I was interested in knowing my car’s condition. As a AAA member it was a perk of membership. As a female you don’t know if you are being ‘taken for a ride’ regarding car repair. This garage is not that kind of place. The owner Frank & the shop manager George were all about helping me understand what my car needed and how long I could expect my car to keep going. I have never, repeat, never had an experience so professional and straight up about car repair. Felt at ease about my repair decisions. Then these guys went the extra mile to get the parts and complete the work right then. Will tell everyone who wants a great garage you can trust—that this is the place. My car runs like new & I’m so happy. Job well done!
